So my time in Jamaica has come and gone. I was there for 8 days and 7 hours and it was lovely. I will admit that first I was bored out of my mind. I was just sitting at home all day doing nothing for the first couple days, but hey, at least I got to rest.
It was so nice seeing my family, especially my dad and my cousin Hugo. I see my mom all the time as she is the only one willing to visit us here in Texas. I got to see some of my high school friends, and some church ones too. Speaking of church, the Constant Springs branch was disappointing. Not very many familiar faces at all. Couple of Britton's, some McPhersons, the usual Richards and faithful ones like Hermine and Bro Nicholas. Makes me really wanna move back home and try to help the church.
It was hard being away from Austin for so long. I never realized how much I really do love him until he wasn't around. For the first few days, I couldn't sleep and we stayed on the phone till he fell asleep(that phone bill is gonna be fun!), but somehow we survived. The highlight of my trip had to be the food.............yummy! I ate like a freaking cow while I was there and somehow managed to lose 14 lbs while doing so.
Well I am off to bed now, nothing else to share except a few pics.
