Clearly we aren't very good at keeping up with this blog stuff, in fact, still learning how to navigate the thing.
It's been 4 months since our last update, quite a bit has happened since then.
1. My brother Andrew is now living with us and going to school @ CCCC. He seems to like it and is actually doing pretty well. He was never the academic type, but that seems to have changed. So very proud of him. We are so happy to have him back here with us. Austin has someone to play Xbox and Wii with and I get someone who speaks patois and who helps me around the house :D
2. My mom visited during the month of july!!!! YAY! I missed my mommy and it was great having her here with us. Her and Austin butted (is that a word?) a few times, but in the end, they resolved all their differences and we had a great time having her here. Didn't do anything too exciting, besides shopping, but she was here for 4th of july and that was a first for her. We went up to the ballpark in Frisco and watched the fireworks and she really liked that. If ticket prices don't go down for Christmas, she'll probably be here again, and hopefully my dad. I miss him too.
3. We moved into our new place and we LOVE it! It is so much bigger than the last one. We now have 1270 sq ft, compared to the 900 we had before. We are still in the "decorating" stage and trying to figure out what to do with all that space. Austin now has a garage and a designated area for his computer. Along with our new place, came a new ward. We are now in Plano 7th, much, much better than Plano 9th. People are so much friendlier and I feel so comfortable here.
4. There have been a few health issues, but nothing too scary. My kidneys seem to be ok for now.
Well ok, so maybe not a lot has gone on. That's all I can think of for now. Of course, I am working (yea right) so I am somewhat distracted.
I am out. Gotta get some work done. Been goofing off on this blog thing all day.
